OUR GOAL:

At the Democracy Sauna we will think together on how to develop democratic ecosystems in the Baltic Sea region.

WE INVITE YOU TO OUR SAUNA

At the event, participants can learn more about the regional coalition as well as contribute to meaningful discussions on the future of democracy development in the region. It will be a space to meet and network with inspiring researchers, democracy developers and other interested parties from the Baltic Sea region.

RESEARCHERS

Individual researchers and academic institutions interested will have the chance to collaborate with democracy developers to make their work have more practical impact.

DEMOCRACY DEVELOPERS

Developers will have the opportunity to share best practices with other organizations. The event will foster collaboration between researchers and developers, enabling the discovery of novel ways to develop democracy in our region.

ALL OTHERS

Individuals and nonprofits who wish to think along and actively engage in democracy development efforts are also warmly invited to participate at our sauna.

In this interactive session we will map the current state of democracy development in the region with a systems-based approach and find the most impactful points of intervention.

Based on the results of the workshop, we will decide on the most meaningful ways to strengthen our democracy ecosystems.

We will bring the day’s discussions to a close with a brainstorm on how our Coalition can contribute to dealing with the challenges to our democracy ecosystems around the Baltic Sea region.
