In 2015, we revamped Domus Dorpatensis’s flagship programme, the DD Academy. However, the programme – which had taken a major leap forward – also required a new approach to recruitment. To this end, we applied for a grant from the Civil Society Endowment Fund to develop a methodology for selecting participants in a more professional manner and for finding suitable candidates for the programme, which had become considerably more demanding.
Through this project, we were able to involve an external partner in the development of our selection methodology and also to update our communication tools. Many thanks to KÜSK!

The DD Training Capacity Development Leap Project
For many years, DD has offered a range of development programmes, through which over 500 young people have been trained. Through this project, we aim to apply and build on this expertise to enhance DD’s financial capacity. As part of the project, we will create a training programme for our trainers, develop 2–3 training packages for sale, and launch marketing activities to promote these training courses. Through these training activities, we aim to gradually increase DD’s revenue base, so that we can use this to expand our social activities and offer the DD Academy programme to an ever-growing number of young people. The project will run for 14 months.
The project was funded by the Ministry of the Interior and the Civil Society Endowment Fund. KÜSK’s grant for the project amounts to 10,904.40 euros. Many thanks to KÜSK!
